No more port

Well after a very delayed surgical procedure and almost FIVE HOURS of waiting in that small little surgical prep room, mom had her port taken out yesterday and all seems to be going well with her recovery from that. She has stitches and probably some steristrips on her incision and isn’t supposed to move her arm above her head for about ten days, just so that it doesn’t tug on the stitches.

So now we are OFFICIALLY free of medical/man’s intervention for mom. No more treatment, no more chemo, no more appointments (besides followup for port removal to make sure it healed all right), no more surgery.

Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

And it is that blood that we are believing in for full and divine healing for my mom. We know He is able. We know He is willing.

Psalm 33:18-22 “But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.”
