Mom did her 8th chemo session this Tue-Thur (the 4th with her newer Folfiri regime) and is starting to feel better. The nurses say that Day 3 (so thursday) is usually the worst and today is Day 5, so usually from here on out we have some great days.
Next Tuesday I believe is mom’s next CT scan, where we see how well this latest regime is working. We keep praying & believing for great results, in Jesus’ name. Please continue to lift my mom up in prayer. Jesus, you are MIGHTY!!!!!
Mom & Dad dropped by for lunch today and then we went on a short walk around the neighborhood. Mom has kept most of her hair, but it is thinning on top, so she has found some really awesome hats to wear to keep her warm (especially on a chilly day like today)! There is an amazing organization of volunteers called Head Huggers that makes chemo caps for cancer patients at no cost. I love this ministry and it makes me want to learn how to knit, too!
Anyway, thank you all for your continued love, concern and prayers for my mom. We feel very blessed to have all the support from across the nation and we know that Jesus is hearing as we cry out to Him.
